Review 3: Universe web editor (special Guest Basel qumisyeh)

Joined today with special guest Basel Qumsiyeh who helps me direct the super simple one-page website editor.

LOVED:

• Easily the simplest website builder I’ve used, great for complete novices.
• Very fast loading, site went live almost immediately.

OK:

• Pretty basic and limited templates, but as it’s a relatively new service, I expect that to change.
• Single page template is good, but I would love to see sections or other elements that can help a newbie make more usable designs.

.DIDN’T LOVE:

• Block based content editor. It was hard to figure out that I could expand the box to cover more space which felt limiting.
• Really long on boarding process, would like to collect less info up front and get to the heart of the app design quickly, then be prompted for additional info.
• I ended up losing all of my content because I pressed the back arrow (which really shouldn’t have been there once I got past it).
